30kg Blue Eye Cod Browns Mountain Sydney
Our fish of the day was a 30kg Blue Eye Cod
It is not every day you get a BIG BOPPER like this 30-kilogram blue eye cod which was the biggest fish for the day.
Plenty of Gemfish as well although when fishing size does matter!
Where is Browns Mountain? 
Located approximately 42 kilometres east of Sydney is where you will find Browns Mountain. This mountain is known as a "seamount" as it does not penetrate the surface of the water. The water surrounding Browns Mountain goes to a depth of 600 metres. Browns Mountain rises 130 metres from the seafloor. The boat trip is about 1.5 hours. This is deep sea fishing at its best with plenty of fish on offer. If, you know where to go and what to do.
