Winter Snapper have arrived off Sydney!
In 30 metre - 100 metre deep-sea waters the snapper are everywhere. Although, this year you will need to get through the leather jackets to pick up your prize fish.
Using a mixture of pilchard and squid for bait we have picked up some nice 2.5 kg - 3.0 kg snapper around and inside 'The Hump'.
Floating baits seems to be working the best although the Leather Jackets are killing us!
If you are planning on a Snapper trip over the next few weeks, take heaps of gear and plenty of sinkers.
