Flathead – The humble Deep sea fishing experience

Sometimes the reefs just don’t hold fish…. or the current is too strong, or the conditions don’t allow us to get out wide to the off shore reefs we catch most of our snapper at – so sometimes we rely on the good old trusty flathead to produce some fun and an awesome feed.
Some of the best days I have ever had are bagging out of blue spot flathead.
